AIHS announces Translational Health Chair in Cancer, Lynne Postovit

Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions (AIHS) is delighted to announce that Lynne Postovit, PhD has received an AIHS Translational Health Chair in Cancer. The AIHS Translational Health Chair program is a partnership between AIHS and Alberta’s research universities that helps recruit top researchers to the province to build capacity in translational research—moving what we know into what we do—in priority areas of health.
Dr. Postovit’s proposed translational research program aligns closely with the government of Alberta’s plan of investing in cancer research and cancer prevention. Dr. Postovit will receive $2.1 million over seven years.
