Grants and Awards
New Summer Studentship Awards - February 2010 Competition
In February 2010 Alberta Innovates - Health Solutions received 437 applications for Summer Studentship awards. The Corporation is pleased to announce that awards will be offered to 202 of these applicants for an overall competition success rate of 46% and a total funding commitment of over $1,000,000.
All applications were reviewed independently by three members of the Summer Studentship Advisory Committee. Formal notification of these awards will be communicated in letters that will be sent to the Deans' Offices at the universities during the week of March 29. In cases where there is a disagreement between the published list on the web site and the formal letters, the information in the letters will be considered to be the official decision of Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions. Individual letters will also be sent directly to each of the Summer Studentship awardees.
It is the responsibility of the awardee, his/her supervisor, and the sponsoring institute to ensure that all terms and conditions of the Summer Studentship award are respected.
