The AHFMR Postdoctoral Fellow Recruitment Fund is intended to help the Universities of Alberta, Calgary and Lethbridge recruit outstanding postdoctoral fellows (candidates who have completed an M.D. or Ph.D. equivalent and who wish to undertake specialized training).

AHFMR will contribute toward covering the cost (up to a maximum of 50%) of travel for prospective trainees wishing to explore the exciting research training opportunities available in Alberta. Thus, this award will help provide an opportunity for candidates to visit university facilities and talk with prospective supervisors.

Applications for this award may be submitted to the Internal Allocations Committee at each of the three institutions by eligible Alberta-based health research investigators who can provide an appropriate training experience for the candidate.
