MBT Studentship Award
The award will enable students to pursue a career in the medical, health, and biotechnology industries by supporting their education and hands-on training in the Master of Biomedical Technology (MBT) Program at the University of Calgary. The MBT Program takes a multi-disciplinary approach and exposes students to a broad range of courses and cutting-edge technologies that will ensure the students acquire practical competencies and extensive knowledge of concepts in biomedical and bioinformatics disciplines, including the application of this knowledge through commercialization of medical and health-related innovations.
The main objectives are to:
- Encourage individuals with a background in science to explore careers that will give them the opportunity to apply their knowledge to commercializing medical discoveries that will lead to improved health
