Conferences & community building
We bring people and ideas together through conferences, community building strategies, and collaborative initiatives so that we can share knowledge, ideas and successes, and use them to advance and enhance the impact of research and innovation activity in Alberta.
- Our recurring series includes the Health Policy Speaker Series, which is jointly organized by Alberta Innovates (formerly AIHS) and the Institute of Health Economics. The Health Policy Speakers Series features experts in the health policy field whose scholarship, work and leadership have led to successful improvements in the health system and health status of populations.
- Please visit our events page to learn more about other events hosted by AI and our partners.
- The Community Engagement and Conference Grant is designed to fund a broad spectrum of activities that foster the promotion and awareness of science, research and innovation, including those that promote collaboration and networking in the area of health research and innovation. This grant is available to our academic researchers as well as members of the public and broader community who are promoting these activities. Please see our funding section for more information.
- The e-Health Innovations Partnership Program (eHIPP) is a program with CIHR that fosters collaborations in e-Health research.
